Nestled on a wide stretch of sandy beach, Back on the Beach Café offers appetizing meals featuring local and seasonal cuisine with breathtaking views of ocean, mountain, pier, and Catalina Island. Generations of Angelinos have been coming to our landmark restaurant since 1989. Both indoor & outdoor seating is available along with extensive catering services and event planning.

Back on the Beach is currently hiring motivated and energetic Full-time/Part-time candidates for a Dishwasher positions in a high volume atmosphere. Back on the Beach is a seasonal restaurant that provides various positions, morning/night shifts, flexible scheduling and free meal on work days.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Operate manual or electric kitchen appliances
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and in a timely fashion
• Store and label foods according to Health Department regulations
• Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary environment
• Supporting other areas of the restaurant
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys working in a team
• Ability to multitask
• ******* Previous restaurant experience preferred ******
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Possess CA Food Handler Certificate
