About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of People & Culture to join the BABYBOO Executive team and directly to the Directors. You will be crafting innovative strategies aligned with global goals, collaborate with leaders, and shape a positive culture. Leading talent acquisition, you will be refining processes, and fostering internal growth. If you want to oversee performance to drive a high-performance culture, read on!

Tasks, duties, & responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with our company’s goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to fuel business growth and organizational development.

Talent Growth & Acquisition:

• Execute innovative talent acquisition strategies, utilize our diverse platforms, and build a positive employer brand.
• Foster internal growth through talent development and succession planning.

Employee Relations:

• Resolve all people relations; Address conflicts, manage grievances, and promote effective communication.

Performance Management:

• Drive excellence by overseeing performance processes, provide feedback, and contribute to a performance-driven culture.

Culture & Change Management:

• Drive initiatives that embed organisational values-based culture into practice.
• Provide specialist advice, coaching and development to the Senior Leadership Team to achieve a productive and engaged workplace culture.
• Ensure our workforce is diverse, engaged and empowered.

HR Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, align policies & conduct audits.
• Ensure accurate records and collaborate for policy development.

Training and Development:

• Cultivate growth! Design & implement learning programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

HR Metrics and ing:

• Track KPIs for workforce management, engagement, and talent acquisition.
• Enable data-driven decision-making for organizational performance.

What you’ll need:

• 4+ years of experience in a HR/People and Culture position within an SME – preferably within a retail of FMCG environment
• Ability to understand and bring into practice HR compliance and Australian employment law
• You are proactive, hard-working, detail-oriented, with a general hunger for learning and professional growth
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure
• Strong analytical skills and experience with LinkedIn data insights, as well as various other job board platforms
• Comfortable being a self-starter in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
• Recruitment experience preferably in an internal environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and teams
