Social Media Manager

Baby Chick’s Social Media Manager works on our Creative team and manages the social media accounts. You will to management, Nina & Brian Spears.

Job Qualifications

• Familiar with and/or passionate about parenting and motherhood
• Exceptional ability in copywriting
• Excellent organizational skills
• Working knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and social media marketing tools like Later and Tailwind
• Experience with Canva and/or other graphic design tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Video editing skills
• Meets deadlines
• Highly creative and can think outside the box
• Fast learner
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CALENDAR

• Analyzes the data and helps manage and update monthly social media content calendar through provided tools with a content strategy, assigning, collected/reviewed, etc. for all of our social media accounts
• Engage daily with our audience (i.e., comments, likes, messages) and engage with other social accounts on their profiles
• Do research on what is trending and create plans for weekly content
• Competitive analysis: regular analysis to better understand the pregnancy to motherhood landscape

CONTENT CREATION & CREATIVITY

• Create custom content via video, imagery, etc. that has value or entertainment for our audience
• Share daily stories featuring our articles on our site, LTK, Amazon shop, and engaging frames of reposts, polls, questions, etc.
• Knows when to use royalty-free music on campaigns and determine which sounds are royalty-free
• Write engaging copy for social media posts specific to each platform
• Writes creative scripts for social video posts (reels/TikToks)
• Create custom branded memes, graphics, and Pinterest pins using provided tools
• Stay up-to-date on celebrity announcements/news and create social content and publish in a timely manner

Hour & Pay

• 160 hours per month
• Starting amount: $24/hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
