Role overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Babraham Institute’s Finance Team in the position of full-time Management Accountant.

The post covers a broad and varied remit of responsibilities covering both financial accounting, cost accounting and VAT and will allow an experienced accountant to join a small team and continue to add value to the services we provide to the Institute and its subsidiary company, Babraham Institute Enterprise Ltd (BIE).

We are looking for a finalist/qualified accountant with a wide range of experience including preparation of financial statements, budgets and also cost accounting experience, together with advanced MS Excel skills.

The role also covers the financial administration of BIE and presenting financial information at BIE board meetings – therefore previous experience of explaining financial information to non-financial colleagues would be useful.

The post holder will have experience of meeting both internal and external deadlines and will be responsible for organising their own time with minimal supervision.
