Head of Recruitment
Remote (work from home – with travel to offices as required)
Salary – £60,000 – 80,000k p.a. DOE

Do you have a strong recruitment background, with the capability and determination to organise and deliver volume recruitment activities using a range of tools and tactics??
We are seeking a Head of Recruitment to join our remote based team to lead Babington’s recruitment process – sourcing apprenticeship candidates that fit our customers’ needs and driving transformation and wholesale performance improvement across the function in line with wide business initiatives.
Candidates will have experience of implementing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), will have a good understanding of best practice approach, and will be able to demonstrate effective leadership of a similar function or team. Key objectives include increasing the volume of roles filled; improving ‘learner lifetime value’ by enabling ‘cross’ and ‘upsell’ into adjacent relevant products and managing and motivating a team. Experience leading in house recruitment and/or working within a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) model is desirable as is the appetite to really own and shape a function – from operating model to incentives.

Summary of role
Responsible for leading candidate engagement, sourcing and placing apprenticeship candidates into vacancies created by our Business-to-Business sales team. Working alongside sales and marketing this is a key role to drive an overall improvement in Babington apprenticeship recruitment function.
Responsible for increasing the vacancy fill ratio; delivering greater visibility around performance data and insight to drive continuous improvement; driving the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System; designing and implementing new ways of working that drive efficiencies in the function; Improving learner lifetime value by supporting ‘cross-sell’ and ‘upsell’ into relevant adjacent product categories.
