The HR Advisor role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

The role
The difference our new HR Advisor will make
As a HR Advisor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock Mission Systems is transforming and we need you to support our key leaders in forging new paths, and leading their teams through exciting, but sometimes challenging change. As part of the People team supporting the Mission Systems Sector, you’ll be key in helping implement our ambitious people agenda while providing progressive HR advice and expertise on all people matters. Providing coaching and support to line managers on effective performance management and development of their teams.
Day to day, you’ll support our Strategic Bid teams with proactive resource planning and talent acquisition activities, HR insight, data and support and you’ll actively support our HR Business Partners with end to end management of TUPE transfers. Working closely alongside line managers to enable operational success of the business area, through effective employee engagement and management of wider people matters. Providing guidance on HR policies and processes, supporting employees and managers to apply people policies consistently and fairly. You’ll support our HR Business Partners in developing and driving people plan and be involved in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary, attendance and grievance issues, including case management.
