About the role

The Finance Accountant is responsible for assisting the Group Financial Controller and support the finance team as required by performing various duties associated with financial operations and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

Some of those duties include:

• Assisting in month end procedures and management reporting,
• Co-ordinate the completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations,
• Preparation and completion of tax submissions (GST, FBT and Corporate Tax),
• Coordinate responses to Audit requests, and
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, across multiple legal entities.

About you

Experience in a similar role within a large corporate or professional services environment will see you be able to produce, analyse and present on reports to all levels of leadership. A Degree in Accounting or Commerce as well as having completed or near completion of the Chartered Accountant Program or similar. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarisation of ERP systems and sound knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel.
