AyA Kitchens and Baths Hiring for Shipping Supervisor – Cabinet Manufacturing at Mississauga, ON Full Time

The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for 8 direct reports. The successful candidate will be supervisor staff as well as the day-to-day truck loading.

Duties:

• Prepare and verify shipments in time for daily deadlines and pick ups
• Plan work load for staff
• Ensure employees adhere to health and safe work environment
• Remove cabinets from line and/or load trucks by hand or using dolly
• Train and motivate staff
• Using AyA computer application to scan items for shipments, storage and tracking
• Track employee attendance records
• Communicate with other supervisors to ensure accuracy of loads and scheduling
• Clean up work area and department when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education:

• 3 years’ experience as a shipping supervisor or team leader
• Logistic experience a definite asset
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs comfortably
• Able to delegate responsibility and lead by example
• Able to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills (outlook, excel)
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Able to work in time sensitive environment

This is a day shift Monday to Friday job with occasional Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
