Communication skills

At Axten Farms we have built a team to grow, harvest, clean, mill and package our own grains. We use many regenerative farming practices and pride ourselves on taking care of our soil. We have currently added to our land base, and are seeking an employee to help with farm related activities such as seeding, spraying, harvesting, etc.

Responsibilities would include operating and maintaining farm equipment, moving grain and yard maintence. Previous experience working on a grain farm and operating equipment is required. Skills such as being able to work well with others, good communication skills, attention to detail, and willing to learn are needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift
Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Our only requirement is that if an an employee is sick, that they do not come to work.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Minton, SK S0C 1T0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
