AXIS Management Group Hiring for Data Visualization Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

AXIS Management Group is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to assist a federal DHS client in the analysis and interpretation of various datasets (financials, logistics/equipment, training) using Tableau and PowerBI, create dashboards and reports, and identify trends to inform strategic business decisions. This position is 100% remote.

Requred Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in developing, interpreting, and making recommendations on dashboard, procedures, and assessing data for an organization, utilizing commercially available data analysis tools and data visualization tools, including Tableau, PowerBI, Excel and Minitab.
• Possess experience working with commercially available data analysis tools and data visualization tools, including Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and SAS
• Possess a Tableau Certified Data Analyst certificate or Power BI Data Analyst certificate
• Possess a strong understanding of the role of IT infrastructure, information systems, and data architecture in supporting data science and data management programs

Job Duties:

• Design and develop dynamic dashboards/reports and interactive visualizations utilizing various reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Develop and design presentations, reports, and other deliverables to summarize findings for key stakeholders and executive leadership, communicating with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Familiarity with other related government-wide data activities and implementation best practices
• Attend meetings and provide stakeholder input as needed and communicate status of changes to team members and leadership

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Tableau Certified Data Analyst certificate or Power BI Data Analyst certificate is required
• U.S. Citizen is required
• Possess previous experience as a contractor or employee of the federal government

Work Location:

• 100% Remote with support provided at the client site (Glynco, GA)
