TALENT ACQUISITION and STAFFING SUPERVISOR
Summary:
The talent acquisition and staffing supervisor will develop organization-wide recruitment and sourcing strategy. Responsible for developing and maintaining the Talent Acquisition portal in the HRIS system.
This position will manage the full life cycle recruitment process including; sourcing the best talent as well as maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion and succession planning.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· This position has supervisory responsibilities for the hiring center staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction.
· Work with the HRIS Talent Acquisition portal, D365 F&O and Power BI to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
· Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
· Maintain applicant tracking records as required for federal reporting.
· Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
· Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs to staff projects.
· Manage the maintenance and execution current job descriptions.
· Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company’s diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
· Attend weekly regional meetings to stay informed of project load and plan accordingly.
· Conduct 1-1 and team meeting with hiring center staff.
· Ensure that organization-wide talent acquisition and staffing initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.
· Recruit full-time project-based personnel.
· Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.).
· Manage hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
· Supervise hiring center staff.
· Partner with Administration team to ensure compliance with internal onboarding procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Superior verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PAYCOM, Power BI, and Microsoft D365.
· Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Excellent leadership skills.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Develop and maintain Talent Acquisition portal including; project assignments, position seat assignments, tracking, metrics, reporting.
Education and Experience: * 6+ years of broad Talent Acquisition experience including sourcing, staffing, analytics, tracking.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
· Ability to travel to worksites and hiring centers with little advance notice.
