We are looking for the capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisations desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

IT Skills and Experience

• Desired Experience:
• Troubleshot and resolved LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security VPN / Wireshark / Tcpdump
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2019 / CentOS Linux 6/7 / QNX
• Printer support
• Scripting Knowledge: Python/Power shell / Bash Shell scripting /PHP / OS build automation/auditing / Software version control tools (CVS/Subversion/Git)
• Performing Hardware Software Installation ( understanding of deployment tools like SCCM)
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting
• Field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services
• Advanced technical abilities including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure

• Knowledge in QNX Operating System.
• Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge in VMware ESX 6.7 / VirtualBox
• Familiarity with RAID technology
• NAS technology (Synology, QNAP)
• Server Hardware Dell / HPE

Basic knowledge of:

• Active Directory
• Exchange
• Apple OS
• SCCM

IT Qualifications

At least two of the following:

• PCLaptop OEM Maintenance Certification
• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

Experience in a similar role

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
