About the Talent Acquisition team:

In strategic partnership with our global sales team, the Talent Acquisition team recruits, onboards, and retains the right lawyer population to meet demand from clients in our different locations.

About the role:

The Talent Acquisition Analyst plays an integral role in the overall success of the company, enabling the growth of our talent bench and the expansion of our business across the U.K. This is a position in a fast-paced environment for someone who loves to connect with people, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism. Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

• End-to-end recruitment of our lawyer bench, including screening applicants, interviewing, conducting diligence, and organising candidate evaluations and hiring decisions;
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates by direct sourcing, proactive market research, and ongoing relationship management;
• Develop a deep understanding of the skills, practice areas, seniority, and industry experience of Axiom Lawyers within each assigned practice;
• Maintaining candidate profiles and status of recruitment activity and report activity levels and hiring targets regularly to local and global leadership;
• Evaluating client demand in partnership with the commercial team and assist in managing our lawyer hiring strategy to ensure a consistent, relevant pipeline of candidates;
• Maintaining sensitive candidate information on relevant systems and producing weekly and monthly Talent reports;
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry that have short and long-term implications on the business;
• Collaborating with other Axiom offices and departments, including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology to ensure seamless coordination within the Axiom Headquarters team.

About you:

• 1+ years experience within a recruitment function (either in-house, agency or RPO);
• Track record of successfully driving a high volume recruitment function against tight deadlines;
• Demonstrable experience of implementing strategy to increase applicant pipelines;
• Highly persuasive communication skills (both verbal and written);
• Critical thinking, initiative and creative problem-solving skills;
• The poise and maturity to interact with senior level, highly experienced lawyers, including the confidence and sensitivity to deliver tough or constructive feedback;
• High-level organizational and project-management skills, together with the ability to operate in an often high-pressured and fast-paced environment;
• Experience of working with relevant technology such as ATS, scheduling and recruitment marketing tools;
• Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint); and
• Commitment to innovation and efficiency, specifically within the legal services area, with a demonstrable interest in the Axiom model and the changing legal landscape.
