The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Talent Acquisition team is seeking a talented, customer-focused specialist to work with our J2D1 team to provide exceptional service to candidates.

Our Talent Acquisition team thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment, rolls up their sleeves, works hard, has fun, and gets the job done. The J2D1 team is the primary point of contact for a candidate after they have accepted an offer of employment through to Day One. The Candidate Operations Specialist works with internal Talent Acquisition, HR, Immigration, and Compliance teams to enable the candidate to complete all pre-requisites to ensure a seamless start at AWS. You will have the opportunity to draw on your experience and build the skills to develop relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and candidates. This is a great opportunity to improve processes and provide visible impact to our business. This position will look after onboarding in multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region.

The ideal candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, and have the ability to dive deep to understand and improve processes – all with the goal of building a great organization of talented individuals. Key job responsibilities

• Visa approvals, relocation, immigration processing with external vendors
• Background check monitoring and troubleshooting
• Onboarding readiness: IT equipment, orientation enrollment, travel
• Start date change management.
• Mandatory document verification (Offer and NDA)
• General candidate questions
• Process improvement, communicating changes to business teams

• Knowledge of recruitment and HR processes
• Familiarity with visa/immigration processes across APAC
• Strong desire to continuously improve the candidate experience
