We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team, and directly to the Director of Procurement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in growing within the cannabis industry!

Location: Remote with light travel

Primary Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and relevant departments and communicate supply problems which may impact business operations.
• Monitor and advise management on circumstances which present risk or opportunity to the business.
• Maintain and manage supplier relationships through a professional approach.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Manage the flow of general goods and supplies by coordinating with suppliers, shipping companies, warehouses, and other parties involved in the process.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and order schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
• Track inventory levels to ensure supply of goods at all company locations.
• Determining whether a supplier can meet deadlines and standards of quality for products or services.
• Compile data relating to supplier performance and costs.
• Optimize data to present to stakeholders for decision-making.
• The ability to work outside of traditional business hours when needed.
