AWC, Inc Hiring for IT Operations Manager Full Time

As the IT Operations Manager, you will lead our Infrastructure Team supporting continuous datacenter, network, and application availability for 30 internal sites serving 500+ employee-owners as well as external partners and customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the daily operations of the Infrastructure team to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of IT systems, data, backups, and communications; troubleshoot and remediate issues that arise
• Manage alarms (24/7) and dashboards (office hours) to ensure IT infrastructure is highly available and configured for optimal performance.
• Oversee the IT incident management process including tracking, troubleshooting, resolution, and driving root cause analysis for enterprise systems.

• Provide documentation of IT infrastructure, process, and functional specifications
• Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals
• Proactively evaluate new architecture requirements, design and configuration based upon new technologies, best practices, risks, etc.
• Manage IT projects
• Manage internal training and development for the Infrastructure team
• Certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts

Travel

The position offers a hybrid work environment with occasional travel to support operations in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in system administration or a related technical operations role
• 5+ years of experience leading small teams on technical projects

• Experience in on-prem to cloud migration projects (Azure)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field
