The Role:
This role would suit an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who enjoys working with candidates.

You will work collaboratively other Avocado talent acquisition specialists, practice leaders, sales, and technical consultants, which will provide you with the opportunity to develop your technical screening knowledge beyond just providing resources for existing client requirements. It’s a fast-paced role so your ability to think on your feet and utilise your local network of talent in the IT space will be a huge asset in this role.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Min 4 yrs’ experience in IT Recruitment– either from an Agency or Internal Recruitment role
• Solid understanding of the full recruitment end to end process
• Experience with screening candidates, behavioural interviewing and a strong understanding of IT terminologies
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, both within your team and with the wider business
• Experience with taking job briefs, and gathering information from the internal hiring managers to enable you to source candidates
• Expertise writing and posting job ads on various platforms (LinkedIn/Seek etc)
• Exceptional sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek and other social media platforms
• Experience providing high quality shortlists, phone screening candidates and conducting face to face interviews
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
