Avista Technologies Hiring for Training Coordinator at Carlsbad, CA Full Time

Job Summary:

The Training Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing Avista Professional Development Programs for Kurita companies and customers globally.

Duties include:

· Work with Avista leadership to define training goals, curriculum, and metrics for success.

· Work with Kurita company and customer stakeholders to customize training programs to meet their needs.

· Review participation data from each training event to determine effectiveness based on metrics set for each course.

· Manage the development of training content (i.e., presentations, pre work, homework, workbooks, post-training tools, etc.) for each event/program in collaboration with subject matter experts.

· Maintain library of training materials and distribution through teams, LMS system, and any other platform required to meet participant needs.

Essential Functions:

· Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) that align with business goals.

· Choosing appropriate training methods per program (virtual, simulated, mentoring, role-playing exercises, on the job training, etc.).

· Work with Marketing Communications team to promote available training programs to Kurita companies and customers with the goal of driving engagement and enrollment, as well as to provide necessary program information.

· Build and manage learner experience and admin tools in the Avista Learning Management System.

· Use proven educational principles and recommend new training methods and techniques.

· Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.

· Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.

· Maintain updated curriculum database and training records and create reports on outcomes of all programs.

· Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.

· Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.

Required Education and Experience:

· Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.

· Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.

· Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.

· Basic knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.

· Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).

· Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Experience and Education:

The ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including mentorship programs, e-learning, virtual and classroom training.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational, time management skills, and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
