About the Role

As a Financial Business Analyst you will support the Finance Business Partner and be tasked with assisting the business with their reporting requirements & analysis. You will enjoy providing meaningful insight to enable decision making process, while also being responsible in maintaining system data integrity and providing ad-hoc support as needed. Your focus will be on key financial areas such as other revenue and OPEX items.

What you’ll do

• Partner with ABG stakeholders to understand the business and financial drivers in order to assist with monthly reporting including; Station P&Ls, Trend analysis and KPI reporting.
• Provide insight and produce value adding variance analysis on actual results compared to the Budget and Forecasts.
• Produce, manage, and maintain standardised reporting using a range of tools such as; Power BI, Hyperion and Excel.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts for Australia.
• Improving existing financial reporting & analytical capabilities while managing P&L models.
• Aid in business modelling, report development and analysis for profit improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across finance teams to provide on time reporting and inputs to ensure compliance.

What we’re looking for

• Finance/accounting degree with CPA (or studying towards).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an analytics or Financial Reporting role.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills including the ability to prepare clear professional reporting.
• Strong Excel skills, financial acumen and experience preparing accurate monthly P&L
• Experience with data management, budgeting and forecasting tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI.
• Has previously worked in multi-faceted highly complex business
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to details.
• Enjoys building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Someone who appreciates working in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
