Avery Dennison is searching for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to add to our team. This position will support our Talent Acquisition team’s ability to hire top talent through administrative and operational functions, always focusing on the success of the team and providing a top-notch experience for candidates as well as internal stakeholders. In this position you will have interaction and collaboration with staff at all levels, across all departments in a fast-paced environment.
As a member of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations team you will work directly with all Talent Acquisition functions (hourly, salaried, Early Career Program (ECP) hiring and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team (DEI)).
Some of the responsibilities critical to success may include:
Recruiting coordination:
Interview scheduling and coordination, travel coordination, partnering with relocation specialists, job and offer creation
New hire onboarding support:
Background check and drug screen monitoring and follow up
New hire communication
Sign on bonus processing
Event/marketing support
Provide assistance with shipping and tracking of career fair/event materials, giveaways, and displays.
Schedule campus and on-site interviews
Outreach Coordination for talent acquisition engagements including career fairs and community outreach
General TA Team support:
Reporting and PO/Invoicing
Employee referral program support (processing referrals, answering questions, policy management)
ATS (SmartRecruiters) subject matter expert
TA team meeting planning and scheduling

Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Human Resources degree preferred
Experience:
1-2+ years of relevant experience or human resources degree with internship
Familiarity working in Google Suite (gmail, drive, slides, docs, sheets, calendar)
Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System
Possess the ability to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance.
Have exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
Make smart and timely decisions; understand when to take ownership of a decision and when to involve other parties.
React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
Think ahead and troubleshoot; remove obstacles before they become problems with a skill of impeccable attention to detail.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK: Candidate needs to be based on the Northeast Ohio area and will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule (remote and in office days)
