Aveo, Australia’s leading retirement village owner/operator is looking for a full time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition team, based in the Brisbane office in Newstead (hybrid role).

Day to day you will of course:

• Source talent: Developing candidate talent pipelines through multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract top talent
• Engage with candidates: Providing a superior candidate experience through all stage of the process (attraction through to onboarding)
• Assess & advise on selection: Conducting screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment and fit for role
• Stakeholder management: Effective relationship management of internal (hiring managers, People & Culture teams) and external stakeholders (candidates, industry bodies, universities, vendors)
• Reporting and data: Maintain recruitment data and use talent insights to support attraction and hiring decision

About you

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have:

• 5+ years in full life cycle recruiting, from branding and marekting, sourcing and selection, offer and onboarding
• Experience recruiting professional/white collar talent
• Experience in proactive sourcing and candidate search and using innovative techniques to source talent
• Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task between various project
• Previous experience of delivering on recruitment project/s
• The willingness and capability to work in a fast-paced environment coupled with strong relationship building
• Agile, adaptable and willing to embrace change
• A flair for thinking outside the box and using your creativity
