The opportunity:

Our Manly centre is seeking passionate Assistant Educators on a casual or permanent part time basis. The position available will be a floater position available during school hours. This role will have flexible hours to the right candidate!

Skills & requirements

• Must hold a Certificate III or Diploma
• A current and valid Working with Children’s Check (New South Wales)
• A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Proficient in oral and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport with families, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the community)
• Do not need to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccination!

Duties

• Monitor, record and evaluate children’s learning and development
• To provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child.
• To provide an age appropriate routine that allows children to settle into the Centre and separate confidently and comfortably from their family.

Salary: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
