Position: Talent Sourcer (REMOTE)

Reports to: Director of Talent Evaluation

Description:

Avenica’s Talent Sourcer is responsible for sourcing candidates for open work orders. Primary duties include identifying and recruiting passive candidates through outbound recruiting. Talent Sourcers work closely with the Talent Delivery team and Client Solutions team members to identify knowledge, skills, and competencies required for specific work orders. Talent Sourcers work behind the scenes, engaging in heavy outbound passive candidate outreach and attracting candidates through networking, cold-calling, complex internet searches, and researching.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing

• Proactively and continually source, develop and maintain a diverse and viable pipeline for open work orders

• Source and engage passive candidates through social media, outbound calling and emailing, networking, relationship building, internet searches, and existing talent pool scrubbing

• Act as primary face of Avenica at initial contact point to provide a positive candidate experience consistent with our mission and brand

• Research, stay up-to-date, and advise on top tools and business intelligence to support ongoing sourcing initiatives

• Make recommendations on how to optimize available resources to ensure proper balance between talent needs and company investment

• Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on prospects, searches, and other sourcing activities to ensure compliance with employment practices, policies, and applicable laws

• Conduct full-cycle recruiting on specific job orders, when needed

Other Duties

• Support Talent Delivery in areas of need, providing backup when necessary for Evaluation and Development teams

• Quarterly meetings within assigned clients

• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; all majors are encouraged to apply, especially those with degrees in Business, HR, Marketing, Communication, or Psychology

• At least 3+ years relevant experience and success in talent sourcing and acquisition

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly amongst diverse teams and partners

• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills – both written and verbal – ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external audiences

• Highly organized, with strong time management skills and attention to detail

• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Tech savvy and the ability to become proficient in a variety of technological platforms

• Experience in, and aptitude for, working to support or lead DE&I initiatives

• Able to work independently with little direction

• Reliable and dependable, able to work as part of a diverse team

• Resourceful, enthusiastic, and professional

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a tenacious will to win

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lead and collaborate with local/in-person and remote teams and support each individuals’ style and growth

• Ability to present to executives at the highest levels, both internally and externally
