Avantis Marine Hiring for HR Assistant Job at Bridgend, Wales Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised person to join our busy HR team. This is an entry level role and would be good experience for someone starting out in their HR career.

The HR department at Avantis looks after everything ‘people’ related so this is a very fast paced and varied role. You will be required to assist with general HR admin, recruitment, resourcing and organisation of trade labour, payroll, travel and training.

Please note you will be required to work Saturdays as part of the role and we are flexible about which day off you would like in the week.

Examples of key responsibilities include;

Weekly collation and input of timesheets for all project workers

Liaising with Project Managers regarding the completion of timesheets and hours

Asist with any pay queries

Online filing of all employee files and documentation in line with our paperless policy.

Liaising with project managers to assess upcoming recruitment needs

Advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, and liaising with the candidates

Assist in collating and arranging required documentation in relation to visa’s, seaman’s books and police record checks.

Liaising with our external provider to arrange travel requests.

Finding and booking training courses as required
