Avanti West Coast Hiring for Lead Talent Acquisition Partner Job at London, England Full Time

Avanti West Coast are currently looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner to join our HR team and lead the Talent Acquisition function.
If you are the type of person to think outside the box and look at ways of improving candidate and hiring manger experience alongside identifying innovative solutions we are looking for someone like you to join our team.
As the Lead Talent Acquisition Partner this role will provide leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition Partner team to deliver a proactive recruitment service bringing in the right talent in the most cost effective and efficient manner, alongside this you will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and plan hiring needs for their teams and own internal and external relationships including recruitment agencies and job boards.
Key responsibilities of the role include
  • Drive a high performance, customer focused approach to Talent Acquisition to maximise team performance.
  • Work in partnership with the HR Ops team and HR business partners to ensure that resourcing and recruitment is aligned to business need and reflects agreed priorities
  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop appropriate attraction strategies and share best practice
  • Act as internal consultant to hiring managers by providing guidance throughout the end-to-end hiring process
  • Provide hiring managers with high quality candidates to help drive improved performance
  • Develop creative, cost-effective sourcing strategies to continually build a diverse pool of top-notch candidates for Avanti West Coast across all functions and levels within the organisation.
  • Writing engaging recruitment adverts and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activity and make changes where necessary.
  • Develop and facilitate suitable interview and assessment methods for recruitment campaigns as appropriate
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness and best practice, advising the business on specific trends and updates that will affect resourcing
  • Have up to date knowledge of current and planned legislation regarding recruitment and ensure that Avanti West Coast is always operating within the parameters of this.
  • Adjust resourcing strategies as appropriate to increase attraction of top talent
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal business partners including a high level of communication on the process and status of open positions
  • Make improvements to the process on to time to fill, quality of candidates and experience for hiring managers

  • Data driven and innovative mindset
  • You will have a good understanding of UK Employment Law in relation to recruitment
  • Proactive sourcing knowledge and use of social media platforms
  • Effective copy writing to maximise candidate pools
  • Expert knowledge of Linkedin as a tool to attract and source candidates
