Duties & Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their business operations, workforce characteristics, and talent needs;
• Develop and execute creative talent acquisition strategies to successfully fill open positions to achieve business goals and objectives;
• Create a regular cadence with key internal stakeholders to discuss results of action plans and progress of filling open positions;
• Build relationships with business leaders through education and execution of all steps of the recruitment process;
• Ensure the recruiting technology and processes are designed to provide a best-in-class candidate experience and seamless, easy to use functionality for our managers;
• Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings and position requirements ensuring that a positive candidate experience is delivered in all areas of our recruiting process;
• Partner with HR team to design recruiting KPIs; evaluate and measure performance and success of talent strategies;
• Manage full cycle recruiting operations; planning and directing activities including carrying out sourcing and screening qualified candidates, evaluating applicant qualifications and interviewing;
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations;
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline;
• Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms;
• Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices;
• Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process;
• Conduct all exit interviews;
• Manage and deliver outplacement meetings/sessions for employees, when required.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree and numerous years experience directly related to talent acquisition/recruiting;
• Practical full life cycle recruitment experience, including end-to-end recruiting process, recruiting technology, job boards, advertising and onboarding;
• Excellent market knowledge – knowing where the best candidates are and what the competitors are up to;
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter;
• Experience working in high-volume, fast paced hiring environment required;
• Recruited in technology UK and internationally;
• Experience of upskilling Line Managers in recruitment activity;
• Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations;
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues;
• A track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical talent at all levels;
• Operates with a high level of expertise and independence in day-to-day tasks;
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent organisational skills with impeccable attention-to-detail and follow-through;
• A team player mentality and a positive attitude;
• Must have a valid visa to work in the UK;
• Strong business acumen with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues when necessary;
• We are a fairly small organisation, so you’ll need to be comfortable wearing many hats.

Desirable

• Experience and knowledge of implementing an ATS system.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the role is required to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the line manager from time to time.
