As a HR Consultant, when you join a world leader in wind energy, you’ll be a key member of the HR team delivering projects and supporting workstreams to deliver complex matrix management structures, working across all ScottishPower businesses.
Day to day you will support HR and business plans through the delivery of allocated projects, supporting work streams and deliverables as part of a larger programme, deploying a consultancy approach independent from the project sponsors. You will proactively manage and effectively deliver solutions supporting both the Business People Strategies and the SHRM plans. In this role you will be responsible for robust job slotting and job evaluations, working collaboratively with the Reward Team, and be able to bring prior experience of Job Evaluation.
We will look for you to scope out the requirements of projects individually or collaboratively with a team to understand project sponsor goals, rationale for change and strategies for delivery and conduct/deliver impact assess recommendations for the wider HR teams including the required support and resource capacity required.
This is an exciting opportunity to identify, plan and manage stakeholders, by gathering their input including consultation, negotiation and have responsibility for delivering and completing projects within agreed timeframes. You will report on progress of delivery, identifying and highlighting challenges and risks to the relevant stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement by making suggestions and implementing improvements to these frameworks and working practices.
To join the team, you’ll need strong organisational skills to ensure work is completed in a timely manner, confident in your own IT skills, hold great attention to detail and previous experience of working in a challenging HR role. Working within an Agile teamworking consultancy model teamworking, you will focus on pace, collaboration change agency, leveraging skills & specialisms, and team & personal development.
You’ll bring skills and significant experience of delivering HR solutions, projects, workstreams and deliverables utilising project management disciplines. Hold an appropriate professional qualification and be experienced or interested in operating in a collaborative agile model and organising your own workload, along with fantastic stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence the business, including business senior management at all levels.
