As a graduate Software Engineer, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to become a highly capable Software Engineer

As a member of the Development Technology Team, you will be part of a group of highly motivated Software Engineers and Business Analysts operating in Agile Kanban. You will be responsible for implementing solutions that meet the regulatory demands of our markets.

We specialise in providing country-specific solutions for our customers and their clients. Given the complexity of the role, there will be no shortage of interesting challenges to overcome. You will be working with subject matter experts, customers and partners. We will place our trust in you and give you the opportunity to contribute quickly. You will be working in an environment where formal and on-the-job training and collaboration is a priority.

You bespoke and individualised graduate program will include on-the-job coaching with a designated Senior Software Engineer, our Academy training courses and access to a training suite based upon your Personal Development Plan. You will also have access to an annual training budget to ensure your personal career and development goals are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• design, implementation and integration of new features
• corrective and preventive maintenance of live solutions
• innovative contribution to shaping our products and processes
• communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders

Qualifications

This role is open to Graduates of Computer Science, Sciences, Mathematics or equivalent, with a keen interest in software development.

The successful candidate will have:

• ability to develop solutions to address complex problems (no particular programming language required)
• a structured and independent approach to working
• the ability to communicate complex concepts
• a creative approach to problem solving
• willingness to get stuck-in
• happy to make mistakes – that’s how we learn around here!

Any of the following additional skills would be an advantage:

• proficiency in other languages. We are global and there are plenty of opportunities to move around the world! English is our business language – so this is not a barrier to your success
• relational database design and SQL
