Avalon Institute is currently seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track for the position of Director of Education. In this role, you’ll use your skills and experience to ensure excellence in staff and students alike.

Description:

The Director of Education is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of education personnel.

Responsibilities Include:

• Directly supervise Education employees
• Ensure compliance with State and Accrediting regulations
• Tracking to various operating metrics
• Maintain and improve staff and student retention
• Motivate campus personnel through recognition and career development

Job Requirements:

• Cosmetology / Esthetics Diploma or Associates Degree a plus
• Minimum of two (2) years of for-profit school experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Microsoft Office experience is required: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Problem-solving abilities and basic technical troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional social interaction skills
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work a flexible schedule
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude
