Pay Range $ 90,000 – $110,000

Hiring, retention, training and development are the key factors we are searching for in this newly created role as the Head Talent Acquisition. This local organization is a successful multi-generational family who has a small recruitment team supporting 4 locations and over 380 people.

If you have experience leading a recruitment team, have a track record of leveraging creative ways to attract talent and understand how to implement internal training and development programs this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Managing all the open requisitions for the team, and allocating resources as needed
• Provide weekly updates to the leadership team on recruitment efforts
• Source, Interview and present candidate options for all levels to include hourly dock works, supervisors, mid-level management, and higher.
• Post and update all job postings throughout the various dashboards used
• Attend job fairs with team on behalf of the organization
• Some travel within CA to various sites to provide interview and training support to management
• Track KPI’s for the recruitment team, and monitor areas of improvement
• Create and implement internal training opportunities and career pathways to increase retention of the hourly associates.
• Work with HR, Operations and Driving teams to understand needs and provide ideas on positions types and make recommendations on compensation to stay competitive
• Support senior management and other department heads with timely, relevant information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 5 years managerial experience
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• 7+ years of experience recruiting all levels of staff and management
