JOB SUMMARY

The Continuous Improvement Specialist leads and facilitates Continuous Improvement efforts in the areas of quality and productivity by applying the appropriate Lean and or Six Sigma principles to improve metrics and achieve Company-driven goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads and manages Continuous Improvement projects using Six Sigma principles to improve operational processes, reduce waste, and achieve company goals.
• Assesses and manages preventive actions.
• Participates in quality improvement teams and assists in QMS management, auditing, and implementation.
• Mentors, coaches, and trains project team members in basic Six Sigma principles.
• Monitors and tracks monthly metric programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelors degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required.
• Continuing education in Quality and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• ISO 9001 Standard knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of quality metrology and data acquisition techniques.
