AV Consulting is Looking for Assistant & Communications Manager Full Time

We are a dedicated team of women entrepreneurs who have an aligned focus to enrich the quality of life of our community. We own multiple businesses to include childcare, family care, government relations & consulting services. We are in the crucuial stages of business development for the expansion of our model.

We are looking for an organized, detailed, outside the box-critical thinker who can adapt well to continuous change and evolution. Must be able to hold a flexible schedule and be willing to travel. Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction. Possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content. Blended work from home & office model. Well versed in social media platforms, and also have strong excel and administration talent. General graphics knowledge on platforms such as Adobephotoshop,indesign, Canva would be an asset.

This is a great opportunity for a driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit wanting to develop experience both professionally and personally in small business creation. Transitioning into full time hours are available. Post secondary is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Research
• Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
• Plan and implement social media marketing.
• Conduct social media marketing research.
• Provide advice on using social media and social networks to promote products or services.
• Support in public relations
• Managing and organizing duties/tasks, and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
• Internal communications
• Event planning (including markets, trade shows, government and economic events)
• Personal support to management
• Community Connection & relationship building
• Lead with love & be a good human

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 25 – 30 per week

Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
