Your new role
This role sits within the wider Finance Product & Systems Team in our Finance & Operations (F&O) department.
This role is specifically responsible for supporting the impact and change for Regulator reporting and other Finance Reporting that is driven and/or impacted by Investment Finance. As the Manager of Product & Change you need to fully understand the Product area of finance investments and how the information flows through. Understand competitor’s and peers’ innovation. As we continue to grow you need to be comfortable in ambiguous environments and have a constant future thinking mindset to build for our growth. You will be tasked with managing the delivery of changes to our product when needed along with ensuring that we are being cost effective when delivering these changes. It is important to understand the broader data agenda across the Fund and the downstream impacts to Tax & Accounting reporting.
As the Fund continues to evolve we are aware that this is also an evolving role that will adjust with growth, there is clear understanding that the role may expand.
This includes but is not limited to;

• Manage your Product area of responsibility and regularly review and optimised across People, Processes, Data and Systems. This will mean that, among other things, you are consistently identifying customer needs, process/system improvement, providing gap analysis and rolling out change.
• You are required to proactively engage and support Business Owners of Finance and Reporting to ensure product solutions are fit for purpose, and to assist them in restoration; remediation (tactically) & resolution (strategically) of services .
• Leading, supporting and delivering change for F&R on initiatives for all Strategy and F&O projects to understand, document, manage, report and communicate to the F&R group as solution (strategically) of services.
• Working with the Oracle Product and Change team to manage implications of Investment platform changes on the Oracle Platform and ensuring that these are correctly integrated and managed.
• Supporting Investment Finance Working Groups and producing the appropriate governance artefacts and tools for the F&R business to stay informed of impacts and timings.

What you’ll need

• A tertiary qualification in investments, business or finance.
• Previous experience as a Fund Accountant, Investment Accountant or similar is highly beneficial.
• Experience in dealing with outsourced providers and managing regulatory change (APRA, ATO, other)
• Business planning and project management skills.
• Experience supporting/working with SaaS/PaaS Products.
