Your New Role:

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead – Home Care, Disability Services and Indigenous Services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the Independent & Assisted Living (IAL) business and People Leaders to support current and future resource planning, recruitment service delivery and strategic sourcing initiatives that support business workforce strategies.

Based in Sydney, you will drive the end to end recruitment delivery for an Aged Care portfolio supporting our Central North region for Home and Community Care. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will form a critical part of our Aged Care talent acquisition strategy, to drive and support sustained workforce growth whilst partnering effectively with key stakeholders.

Your New Role Looks Like This:

• Engaging with the IAL business, Hiring Managers, and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver key resourcing initiatives and assignments in line with the business needs and demand forecasts
• Acting as an internal consultant to the IAL business, Hiring Managers, and other key stakeholders, advising on local resourcing matters and providing innovative and pragmatic solutions for improving resourcing effectiveness
• Managing volume recruitment projects and campaigns including direct and virtual assessment centres and supporting the Hiring Leaders to facilitate these with required support
• Manage all relationships and utilisation of recruitment agency partners in adherence with Australian Unity agreements and protocols
• Working closely with hiring managers to develop and coach their recruiting capability and skills
• Managing and participating in full cycle recruiting in close collaboration with Business, Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders from entry-level to senior level hires.
• Assessing candidate applications, screening, interviewing, recommending shortlists, offer management and managing a portfolio of requisitions to agreed cost, quality and time parameters
• Primary accountability for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) data integrity and accuracy that flows into terms and conditions of employment contracts.
• Working with the Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Leads to ensure that proactive candidate talent pipelines are developed to minimise business interruption, through proactively creating both active and passive candidate markets for strategic and critical roles
• Acting as an advocate and brand ambassador to communicate Australian Unity’s employment brand (EVP) with all stakeholders throughout all stages of the recruitment process to the talent market
• Working collaboratively with Employee Central (Candidate Care and Onboarding team) to facilitate efficient and timely onboarding of new hires.

About You:

You will be a motivated Talent Specialist/Recruiter with experience in the Aged Care/Healthcare industry. You will have a demonstrated history of developing collaborative and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to take initiative on recommending and implementing improvements.

Does this sound like you?

• Demonstrated talent acquisition experience managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycles ideally within an internal Talent Acquisition function.
• Prior Aged Care, Disability Services and/or Healthcare industry recruitment experience would be desirable but is not mandatory.
• Previous experience recruiting across varied roles and levels including customer facing, corporate and specialist/leadership roles across varying geographic locations.
• Exceptional candidate management and stakeholder engagement capability. From application to onboarding stage, you take pleasure in providing a premium candidate and stakeholder experience.
• Proven ability to leverage sourcing and applicant tracking technologies to deliver high quality talent outcomes.
• Proficient with and capable of learning new technologies and systems, ideally with experience using SuccessFactors or other applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Premium Talent Search.
• Proven ability around excellent time management and the flexibility to handle changing priorities.
