Your opportunity

Key to our employee experience ambition is the need to maintain, administer and continuously enhance our end to end people system environment with human centred design solutions. The role needs to oversee the balance between great employee experience with scalable solutions that drive effectiveness and efficiency in our People and Culture (P&C) operational teams.

The People Systems Analyst plays an important role delivering on this ambition and is primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing the people systems that underpin the end-to-end employee payroll process. The primary business systems covered by the role are the payroll software and time and attendance and award interpreter, UKG Dimensions. A key secondary objective is to build technical knowledge in the SuccessFactors product suite. The role will provide technical support to the P&C Systems and Applications Lead and Payroll team during the root cause analysis across the end-to-end payroll systems.

The role will also work closely with the People Systems Long Lived Team managing the backlog of work and contributing to the technology road map.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the Payroll team with the administration of the UKG dimensions and payroll systems
• Continually improve and optimise key Australian Unity end-to-end payroll systems
• Assess impacts and manage new product releases for safety systems ensuring the appropriate testing of mandatory upgrades and the appropriate selection of opt-in features
• Application of problem-solving techniques in the investigation of technical issues
• Collaboration with the P&C Long Lived Team and decision making
• stakeholder with regards to the prioritised resolution of issues and continuous improvement opportunities
• Establish and perform routine data reviews to proactively assess the health and data integrity of people systems
• Support operational teams with technical systems and process advice via training sessions or through workshops
• Liaise directly with vendors and consultants to understand the best outcome for Australian Unity during system enhancements
• Review test outcomes delivered by the Quality Assurance team
• Provide test strategies for inclusion in quality assurance phases
• Maintain and promote the Safety System user guides for Employees and People Leaders
• The provision of technical system and process advice offered to P&C Operations teams
• Monitoring and controlling practices that deliver accurate people data

About you

We are searching for a professional who will join us in striving to live our values of bold, warm and honest, in everything we do.

Your expertise and qualifications will include:

• Three plus years Payroll and Workforce Management technical experience with a preference for UKG Kronos and SAP SuccessFactors
• Three plus years in a business system testing or analyst capacity
• An evidenced problem-solving approach to the management of defects from identification and root cause analysis through to containment and resolution
• Change Request expertise including coordination with third party cloud-based software service vendors
• Development and maintenance of system test artefacts
• Building and executing of test scripts
• Verification and validation of business system upgrades and new production solutions
• Project team and BAU operational experience
