The role

We are currently looking for a motivated IT Support Consultant to join the supportive and friendly team at St Patrick’s Green Aged Care located in Kogarah on a Full Time basis. As IT Support, you are responsible for providing a high level of customer service and technical support to our employees who are located within our residential aged care and the retirement living villages.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with setting up, operating and troubleshooting all village systems with vendors and employees
• Assist with the configuration and support of user devices such as computers, printers, mobile phones and tablets
• Maintaining records of software licences, mobile phones, PCs and other IT equipment
• Assist with security monitoring and reporting, including antivirus and message hygiene solutions
• Maintain user profiles to ensure appropriate access to digital services
• Liaise with external IT providers and log problems when appropriate
• Hardware configuration and deployment
• Mobile Handset telephony management
• Support consumers with their computer needs
• Level 2 support & troubleshooting for printers, scanners and faxes as well as network switches and server support.

About you

• Previous experience working within a similar IT support role, including provide on-site support to field offices
• Experience working with Mitel Telephony, Video Conferencing, CCTV, Access Control and Intercom systems
• Completion of tertiary qualifications in information technology or similar
• Microsoft Certification in Active Directory would be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience in Aged Care sector highly desirable
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Current Police Check Certificate (valid within last 12 months)
• Current Influenza Vaccination Certificate (valid within last 12 months)
• Covid-19 Vaccination Evidence
