Our Opportunity

Work as part of a wider cross-functional team to deliver scalable, secure and operationally stable solutions with emphasis on innovation and delivering business value.

Assist the technology team and wider business in analysing requirements and designing systems that meet those requirements. Utilise core problem solving skills to resolve issues and explore potential solutions to complex business problems.

What you will do

• Deliver high quality value focused software solutions as part of a cross functional team
• Deep understanding of common security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them
• Participate in providing accurate estimations for work and take ownership to meet those estimations
• Champion operational best practices by ensuring continuous improvement in our code bases, deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions
• Ensure relevant documentation is concise, fit for purpose and delivered timely to ensure business knowledge is captured appropriately
• Follow internal coding guidelines and practices and suggest updates when and if required

What we are looking for

• 4+ years commercial software development experience in one or more of C#, SQL, Frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, Angular), Rest API, Testing and Mocking frameworks.
• Knowledge in CI/CD, preferably Octopus and TeamCity
• Experience of source control software (GIT)
• Working knowledge of documentation, coding, testing and deployment using multiple development languages and platforms
• Demonstrable understanding of security best practices and track record of keeping up to date on latest threats and their mitigation
• Working knowledge of agile software development.
• Demonstrably strong understanding of design patterns
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
