About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer (IT Application Developer), you’ll perform a range of technical and administrative tasks and activities to design, build, test, and maintain IT applications.

Your duties

• Communicate effectively across a range of media types
• Apply a DevOps and Agile approach to the delivery of our services
• Contribute to quality assurance reviews and make recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate within a team environment, build relationships, encourage and support others

Skills and experience

• Knowledge of design, coding, verification, testing and refactors programs, scripts, and integration software
• Develop test documentation, respond to client inquiries on test specifications, test scripts, and/or test plans
• Apply agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes and willingly shares information to streamline processes
• Identify data requirements to satisfy test cases and create, manipulate and maintain test data
• Experience in one or more of the following: Net/C#, Xamarin, PowerShell, Java, Java Script, SQL Server, DB2, AWS, MongoDB, XML, HTML & CSS, JSON, TFS/Azure devops, R, Python, RESTful patterns, and API development, Angular and GiT or any other equivalent experience.
