Salary package: $74,782 – $81,579 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview
This position is a 12 month fixed term appointment to work in support of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) administration activities for the School of Computing within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The School Administrator – HDR will be responsible for providing advice on all aspects of the HDR student lifecycle, as well as the interpretation and application of policy and procedures associated with HDR student administration matters. They will carry out administrative work in support of the HDR admissions process and candidate management.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a complex administrative environment. Experience working within a university environment in HDR administration or general School administration will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone with a strong customer service focus, who enjoys learning new tasks and derives satisfaction from designing and implementing process improvements. Good attention to detail is essential.

This role is fixed term while we work to establish a School-based HDR team, and consideration will be given to conversion to ongoing once this is achieved.
