Reporting to the Head of Education, you will be responsible for the Museum’s online education products and programs for the Education section. It will create, develop and maintain all of the Museum’s digital education programs/products for existing school audiences while seeking and engaging new ones on a national scale.
This position will work on the development of vibrant, inclusive and engaging digital content and products for varied education audiences, including K-Y12, teachers, with a focus on the Australian curriculum. This position will create and deliver virtual excursions, web conferences and other ‘live’ online experiences. This position is responsible for digital projects and product development such as online games, podcasts, VR, static and interactive digital resources to engage and enthral students of all ages. This position will liaise with the Digital and Insight section to manage education resources on Museum’s website, social media and other digital platforms. This position will similarly collaborate with all sections of the museum to find, package and share the incredible content and stories found within the Museum’s research and collections.

Selection for this position will be made on the basis of relative merit which will be assessed against each item of the selection criteria. Psychometric tests may be used as the initial short-listing test or later in the selection process. Some tests are very short while others may take one or more hours.
