Role Summary
AFP Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate ready for a new challenge in a fast paced role, working with a supportive team. If this sounds like you, this role will suit you.
As a Talent Acquisition Officer, working in a small team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and advice to assist in meeting organisational workforce requirements through the delivery of customer focused recruitment and selection activities.
As a Team Member in the AFP you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
Role Description & Responsibilities
A typical day for a Talent Acquisition Officer involves:
Administering high volume recruitment actions using the in-house recruitment system, MyCareer (SAP Success Factors) including approving job requisitions, processing outcomes, uploading advertising and administering relevant security and other clearances.
Generating letters of offer, instruments of engagement and relevant documentation to ensure a positive and timely onboarding experience.
Providing accurate and timely advice when responding to a high volume of email and phone enquires.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Assisting in a range of corporate support tasks and contributing to the review and evaluation of recruitment policies and processes to enhance the delivery of recruitment to the AFP.
To be a successful Talent Acquisition Officer you will have strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. The development of effective working relationships will be important to you. You will have strong judgement and be able to determine priorities. As a problem solver you will have excellent attention to detail and have a strong willingness to learn new skills and systems.
Essential Requirements
High level customer service skills.
Contemporary knowledge and/or experience relevant to the role.
Broad range of administrative skills.
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within a similar role.
Experience using SAP Success Factors.
Relevant HR qualifications or working towards achieving this.
