Job Description

AACo currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Graduate to join our Intensive business unit.

The Graduate Intensive role provides a unique opportunity across a 2 year program to develop an in-depth awareness and understanding of our Feedlots and Farms whilst rotating through our Intensive operations. Initially based at Aronui Feedlot, you will commence developing hands on experience by undertaking duties including, but not limited to:

  • Accounting and all operational systems
  • Financial Structure & Commodity Receival
  • Pen riding, Livestock inductions and assisting with Vet visits
  • Trucking exiting cattle & operating Feed trucks
  • Specialist projects

Whilst based within the Intensive business unit, you will also be provided opportunity to spend time across the wider Operations team including our Pastoral function and Corporate.

The official Stuff:

  • Completion of a university degree in the last 2 years, preferably from one of the following disciplines: Agribusiness, Animal Science, Finance, Marketing & Sales, HR &/ or Environment & Sustainability.
  • 2+years of relevant operations exposure, agriculture is advantageous, but NOT mandatory
  • Resilience to working in a variety of remote locations
  • Passion for our industry and a team player
