What does the role involve?

• Whilst most of the TA leadership team are based in Melbourne, we are flexible on location.

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager – Deliveries & Campaigns, the TA Manager, Project Delivery is accountable for the strategy, planning and project management of small and large scale recruitment campaigns and for leading and coaching a committed and awesome team of 7 TA Consultants and a TA Business Partner, to deliver 5000 plus hires per year. This includes peak project delivery, early careers campaigns and ad hoc campaign recruitment, such as state and federal election campaigns.

We are setting the bench high and are looking for a TA leader who is excited at initiating a review of current state and who can recommend and implement leading recruitment practices that are optimised for candidates and that are commercially driven.

Importantly, you will collaborate with TA Managers across different portfolios, to identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the candidate experience.

Additionally, You Will Be Responsible For

• Recruitment strategy, methodology, and campaign project planning and delivery
• Service delivery and ensuring that KPIs and SLA’s are met
• Promoting awareness of TA service offerings, in particular for the recruitment of external candidates
• Managing and facilitating the development of recruitment projects including the development of idea briefs, project plans and business case documents
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, optimisation and improvement and partnering with stakeholders to embed changes across the enterprise
• Implementing change programs and leading people through change
• Building relationships with HRBP’s and senior stakeholders and influencing the uptake of new initiatives
• Conducting peak period workforce planning meetings.

What are we looking for?

• Experience across recruitment strategy and operations, within award level blue collar recruitment
• Experience in external Talent Acquisition, with a strong background in high volume recruitment, gained from within an RPO, agency or internal environment
• A data driven approach to decision making
• People leadership and management experience, specifically the ability to create a cohesive and high performing teams with focus on developing team members
• Exceptional stakeholder management including strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• A collaborative, consultative and team based approach
• The ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders
