What does the role involve?

Reporting to the CFO (Commercial and Operations), you’re key support to the Deliveries management team, providing them with accurate and timely financial information to enable informed business decision making.

You’ll be responsible for financial management, delivery operations performance and profitability analysis, investment case preparation and review, as well as providing commercial and strategic support.

This role will also see you

• Participating in the development of management performance targets and KPIs, and provide business advice in relation to business strategies and performance
• Developing a thorough understanding of the Network Plan and align investment, benefits and cashflow implications
• Liaising with broader enterprise teams (Property, Capital Management, Transformation Office) to ensure consistency and alignment on Network transformation
• Reviewing, evaluating and providing advice on business cases and investment proposals and track benefits
• Conducting performance analysis and Identifying key risks and opportunities within each of the portfolios, and ensuring these risks/opportunities are communicated in a timely manner to key stakeholders
• Helping the business partners to develop plans/strategies that will mitigate financial risks within the product and segments and maximising the profit opportunities to achieve the portfolio’s desired outcomes
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with key customers/stakeholders of varying levels to gather critical information & insights

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 12 years experience in a business partnering finance-related role in the logistics, supply chain industry
• Appropriate tertiary qualification in finance and/or accounting or related discipline
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, CPA Australia, or equivalent
• Strong business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, data manipulation skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive business outcomes in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Proven experience in logistics and/or supply chain businesses
• Experience with Tableau, SAP is a distinct advantage as Australia Post adopts this as an Enterprise-wide tool
