About The Role

This is not your traditional Analytical role – based out of Dandenong South, VIC we are on the hunt for an Asset Analyst, who wants to be part of our exciting, ever changing and transforming organisation.

You will be experienced in the analytical space with excellent stakeholder and customer service skills. This role is designed to provide key analytic, reporting, co-ordination and insight support to assist National Network Operations whereby you’re able to identify areas of opportunity while also being involved in implementing the solutions. Within this role you won’t just identify issues, you will be a key part of conceiving and implementing the solution.

This position will have key focuses on Safety, Service and Cost drivers on aligned to the targets of the Asset Management team.

Your Typical Day Will Involve

• Providing analytic and program support to the Head of Assets Management, Co-ordinator – Asset Control and Co-ordinator – Equipment.
• Providing reviews of all data to assist with the asset management framework that enhances safety, cost, and quality outcomes.
• Assisting with business cases to support the asset management strategic objectives.
• Assisting with strategic planning for the asset management supplier and equipment strategy.
• Supporting the review and analysis of data to lead the identification of local strategies that enhance cost, quality and safety outcomes.
• Contributing to financial year planning activities to offer guidance/recommendations for the purposes of submitting proposed financial target expectations and portfolio outlook.
• Optimising program resources to achieve efficiencies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders by creating opportunities for enhanced teamwork and collaboration across boundaries.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, reports)
• Experience with SAP, TM1 or a large ERP software.
• Experience in analysing complex business issues and multiple processes
• Experience using analytical methodologies, frameworks and tools
• Experience in presenting findings to broader business and stakeholder groups
• Asset Management qualifications are advantageous but not essential
