An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Revenue Services Support Officer to join our Revenue Services Team – Finance.
Austin Health Finance Department provides financial services including: Resource Management and Budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (patient billing and sundry debtors); Private Practice Administration, Financial Accounting, Cash Management and Investments.
The Patient Revenue Services Department is situated within the Finance Department and comprises three teams; Private Patient Liaison Officers (PPLO), Billing and Debt Management. these teams are managed by the Revenue Services Manager, and are responsible for supporting the election of private and compensable patients, billing patients, receipting and debt management.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include:
Experiece working with the PBRC billing system would be desirable but not essential.

Selection Criteria Essential: Previous experience in accounts receivable/receipting, cashiering or debt collections.
Essential: Experience in a high volume customer service office
Desirable: Experience with the PBRC billing system
Desirable: Experience working within the Australian Healthcare System
