We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Bookkeeper with a hands-on, a can-do attitude to join the team. You will provide support for the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.

What will you do:

• Respond to day-to-day finance queries in a timely manner.
• Processing accounts payable.
• Monitoring of daily purchases and register
• Monitoring of daily transactions through updating the bank register with company daily expenses, and funds/payments received.
• Allocating payments to corresponding customer account.
• Reconciling bank accounts and Inter-company accounts.
• Scanning mail and uploading documents and ad-hoc admin tasks
• Ad-hoc requests as directed and required.

Who do we need:

• Experience using MYOB Accounting Software or similar is an advantage
• Understanding of accounting payable/receivable principles
• Data entry skills.
• A high degree of accuracy and numerical literacy
• Highly competent PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to reach deadlines
• High levels of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
• Willingness to contribute to and adapt as the company continues to grow within the marketplace.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize task.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
• MYOB: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
