Audley Group are looking for a driven individual to join the finance function, to take responsibility for external and internal financial accounting, accounting for complex transactions and provide overall support to the Group Financial Controller and CFO

The Financial Accounting Manager will be a key role at Audley Group, and you will be responsible for the accountancy and accounting issues.

To be successful in the role, you will have worked within Audits or an Audit firm as this role will involve audit management.

The Role

We seek a talented, qualified and experienced, finance professional to lead/support in the following key areas, but not limited to:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on IFRSs and FRS 102, including interpreting guidance regarding accounting issues
• Analyse contracts or agreements as needed to determine accounting treatment and own the process from analysis to recording and reporting
• Lead the accounting close and consolidation process (c. 50 companies)
• Lead the statutory reporting deliverables for the Group
• Manage the annual financial statement filing process and related requirements ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Assist in regular management reporting and covenant reporting to stakeholders including equity owners and banks
• Assist on special projects and provides ad hoc reports as needed

The Successful Candidate will possess:

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
• Experience in a top 10 audit firm
• Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of the latest accounting standards
• Experience with multi-company environment with differing levels of ownership
• Expertise using Microsoft excel (expected use of pivot tables, Vlookup, graphs etc)
• Thrives in working to tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills.
• Exposure to tax and treasury would be an advantage
