Our Accounting team is GROWING, and we are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the fun!!

Schedule

Monday to Friday; 40 hours a week – Flexible

What You’ll Do as an Accounting Clerk

• Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting
• Receipt all monies received for new and used car deals and dealer trades.
• Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN, etc.)
• Process pay-off checks for trade-ins in a timely manner.
• Process dealer trades in and out.
• Generate and maintain the salesperson’s commission reports
• Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing as soon as money is received
• Process contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain accounting schedules, reconcile differences and make journal entry adjustments as needed

Requirements:

What You’ll Need as an Accounting Clerk

• Automotive dealership experience is preferred but will train the right candidate
  
• 1-3 years of experience working in an accounting role
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Positive attitude & very outgoing personality
• Exceptional written & oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
