Technical Business Analyst – Merchant Experience

Sydney, Australia

Salary – $800-$850pd

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst who is highly technical to join a Merchant Experience team that is responsible for the merchant portal and merchant interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed product documentation for both internal and external use, including feature specs, process maps, and diagrams.
• Aid the product team in managing the backlog, ensuring alignment with the product strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the squad to solve valuable challenges effectively.
• Convert requirements into high-quality user stories with personas and acceptance criteria.
• Craft user stories with technical details for integration-based features.
• Lead the squad in achieving sprint goals.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies like sprint planning and showcases.
• Ensure collaborative decisions benefit customers, the business, and product missions.
• Offer product insights to guide the Product Roadmap.
• Conduct exploratory acceptance testing for top-quality solutions.
• Define the Merchant Experience with the UX team, considering both short and long-term needs for the vision.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of Technical Business Analysis experience.
• Proficiency in working with both front-end and back-end software solutions.
• Track record of working within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Extensive expertise in Restful API and microservices technologies.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian product suite, particularly JIRA and Confluence.
• Capability to create and manage Postman collections.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
